Brian Bagnall qualified as a surveyor in 1974 from Bolton Street. He worked in a number of practices throughout Dublin including 5 years spent in the Valuation Office before forming Bagnall & Associates in 1986.
Initially specialising in rating consulting, the firm under his guidance expanded into advising on all forms of commercial property including rent reviews, compulsory purchase, valuations and agency based advice. Brian is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland.
He sits on the Valuation Office forum which is the liaison body between the private consultants and the Valuation Office dealing with problems arising in all aspects of rating. Brian also acts as an Arbitrator/independent expert in matters relating to rent review and property disputes.
Brian has a very strong loyalty policy when it comes to Rugby clubs. He is a member of whichever club is touring that year.
So far the golden oldies excursions have made him a well-traveled man to Argentina, Australia, Chile, Uruguay, Spain, France, New Zealand, Japan and the clubs have included North Kildare (the original and best), Clontarf, Wanderers, Lansdowne, St Marys and Terenure.
