Declan’s primary area is the agency end of the business which is predominantly the retail and investment markets. He is a fully qualified Chartered Surveyor and a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, where he sits on the Commercial Agency Committee and The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor where he is a registered valuer.
Having spent a number of years advising on all kinds of retail developments he has since acted for a large number of both retail and investment clients including Donnybrook fair, O’Briens Wines, Natural Bakery, IMC, Irish Life, Aviva, and Hibernia REIT.
Declan is a self-confessed deal junkie. His success rate in converting deals is what sets him apart as he never gets complacent that a transaction is complete until it is fully executed.
A naturally outgoing and optimistic individual, dealing with people is his favourite part of the business. Having dabbled with rugby in his younger years, he moved onto a short lived stint as a lead guitar player, before this gave way to triathlon. In fact, it is with that sport that his mid-life crisis kicked into full swing.
Having competed and completed a number of events including a full distance Ironman, Declan was, prior to Conor’s arrival, the self-proclaimed “athlete” of the firm. He now reluctantly accepts he is a distant 2nd.

Skydive probably.

A skiing one or one with exploring and adventure. At the very least an active one. I don’t do well lying around the place. I think it’s probably an illness.
